Bring on FALL!

Excited about the crisp temps, pumpkin pickin', and festivals to come! My favorite season - FALL. Here are a few pictures of our first fall as a family of 3. It sure made for an entertaining season throwing a little one in the mix.

We managed to stay busy through the autumn holidays...between festivals far and wide, weekly trips to Evan's Orchard, Kaz's 1st halloween as a skunk, and spending fall break in the mountains. These were all very memorable moments shared.

I'm looking forward to this season as it rolls around with Kaz being another year older. He is taking in the world in a whole new way now. I can't wait to see his smile, hear his sounds (or words I guess;), and just stop long enough to be thankful for the opportunity for another season with my sweet family.

These are a few of my favorite things...

Fall festivals would rank pretty high up on my list of "favorite things", considering that I love everything about fall! Today Kaz got to stroll the streets of Midway with his BF - Griffin, while the "mommys" got to do a little shopping and snacking of our own.

We stopped for lunch at a great restaurant right downtown and had some yummy fish and chips. Then we made sure to fit in all the vendors and shops along our route. We taste tested lots of sweet treats - like freshly squeezed sorghum and ky honey.

Finally we finished the afternoon with a train ride of Thomas:) and a stop at a real RJ Corman train that the boys enjoyed climbing on.

This is just the beginning of many more fall festivals to come - and I couldn't be happier!

Sweet 16!

Our little baby is not so little anymore! Now, 16 months and towering over all the charts - Kaz is over 33 inches tall (94%) and 30 lbs. (100%) = he is LARGE and in charge!
We can see with our own eyes how he is getting bigger by the day....

I love his character and enthusiasm for life! The way he interacts with others has to be one of my favorites currently, he is a charmer for sure:) He has truly started to "get" things and it is so fun watching him take the world in.

He continues to love music - I wonder where he gets that?:) Whenever there is a song on he flails his arms like a bird to the beat and whenever he is asked to sing he instantly shouts out a quick "AAAH" (in tune of course).

Kaz still continues to work hard in PT and OT weekly and we are slowly but surely beginning to see the gaps close - as we know God has great things planned for our little big man!
