People that know me, know that I love pictures.... Capturing life in a still frame is something that has always intrigued me. I started with looking through the eye of something as simple as a disposable camera, next to the generic print-only, then to a decent digital, and now moved on up to a Canon that can do more tricks than I can fathom.
I like to think I have "dabbled" in photography - taking pictures of my family (mostly Kaz;), attempting to put our lives in some type of capsule so that I will never forget the memories shared.
Last weekend, my friend Brittanie and I attended a photography class in Lexington with a wonderful, well-known photographer - Kristin Tatem. After a 4-hour course of lots of formulas, new vocabulary, and slides of information, I came out more inspired and raring to challenge myself!
I'm trying it ALL MANUAL... minus a little auto-focus;)
So far, so good - but there's a lot to learn and practice makes perfect, right?
